Details will be confirmed as the next phases grow nearer.

In addition to upgrades at the existing recreation park, new growth and expansion have been proposed for the Whitmire property located on Main Street near downtown. The new skatepark was recently opened on this 12.7-acre expanse of land, and other proposed additions include an amphitheater, a pavilion, trails, more pickleball courts, a dedicated meditation space, a disc golf practice area, and even a rock climbing wall.
