Begins with a Dream
While living on a remote farm, Tim Ryan fell in love with the principles of New Urbanism and dreamed of creating a walkable, connected, master planned community in Franklin, NC. That vision became Sanctuary Village. With the help of Franklin resident Ben Brown, a professional design charrette led to a master plan now recorded with the Town. Sanctuary Village brings together thoughtful design, community, and a strong sense of place.
