Since the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts first opened its doors in 2009, residents and visitors of Franklin, NC have benefitted from the outstanding lineup of performers that the center has attracted to the area. From renditions of Broadway musicals to world-famous musicians, as well as local performers, the stage has been graced by so much talent over the years.
Holiday Shows
This season, the Smoky Mountain Center in Franklin, NC has outdone itself with a calendar of holiday shows, performances and events that are sure to provide fun and entertainment for the whole family.
The last week of November, Voctave: The Spirit of the Season will bring holiday joy to the audience with their cappella renditions of holiday favorites.
On December 2, the Sara Evans Christmas Tour will grace the stage with one of the most recognizable voices in country music.
The following week, The Collingsworth Family – A True Family Christmas will usher in the true spirit of Christmas with tight vocal harmonies, orchestral music, and plenty of favorite tunes.
December 9, Grand Ole Opry Members and five-time Grammy Award winners Dailey & Vincent will bring The Christmas Tour ‘23 to showcase their new Christmas album in a blend of gospel, country, and bluegrass.
Christmas On Ice will take the stage on December 14 and will include live ice skating, music, dancing, and storytelling.
Finally, on December 23, the annual Christmas Eve (Eve) Worship & Celebration brings family and friends together for hymns, traditional Christmas songs, and worship.
